Join ten outstanding mystery writers, short story writers, and a blogger at the Spring Author Showcase at Book Passage in Corte Madera.

Book Passage is in Marin County, right off Highway 101 in a small shopping center. There’s plenty of parking. Besides a wonderful selection of books, inside is a small cafe with to-die-for sandwiches and drinks.

After the event, you can chat with your favorite authors,  purchase a copy of their books. and ask for their autograph. The new NorCal SinC anthology, Invasive Species, will also be on sale.

Vera Chan

Under the pen name H-C Chan, Vera Chan makes her fiction debut with her short story “Murderers’ Feast” in the 2021 Crooked Lane anthology Midnight Hour, alongside 19 stellar crime writers of color. A veteran lifestyle/A&E editor and reporter, she has worked at the intersection of journalism and technology at the world’s biggest tech companies. Her nonfiction works include contributions to Asia in the San Francisco Bay Area (Asia Society) and Martial Arts of the World: An Encyclopedia of History and Innovation (ABC-CLIO).

William Bruce Johnson

In over four decades of working in computer technology, Bruce published a dozen non-fiction books that helped thousands of software developers build the websites that people complain about. Pivoting to writing thrillers, he has published his first short story, published in the Invasive Species anthology. He is currently querying his first novel while working on his next.

Reece Hirsch

Reece Hirsch is the Thriller Award-nominated author of six thrillers that draw upon his background as a privacy attorney. Reece is the co-head of the privacy and security practice of an international law firm, and frequently advises clients and speaks about AI issues.
